His life was from this moment doomed to be a videogamer

Speedrunning Super Mario Bros, when speedrunning wasn't a thing, he then moved on to PC-gaming

The first PC-games were Larry, Digger, Tetris, Wolfenstein, Doom, Rott, Command&Conquer, Sim City, Sim Towers.

When the young man went into his teens, QuakeWorld became a thing, lots of hours spent in QW-duels, somewhat in QW-TDM, even though that was not something he enjoyed very much.

Mods for Half-Life hit the market, Day of Defeat, Counter-Strike and so on, ofcourse he tried theese games and spent lots of hours, but the games were slow, too slow.

Some new friends were made in quakeworld, they then disappeared, like most of his friends.

He then moved on to become a Quake3-player. Mostly active in the Q3CTF-scene, this is where the content creation started with the movie: Legend of the drunken Grottis, some of the friends from this time still exist in his life.

After also dabbling with some MMORPGs such as Pristontale,Ragnarok and Dragonica he eventually gave up on the PC and bought a Playstation 3.

This is when the name Grottsson became a thing, it seemed like Grottis was taken on Playstation network already by some faker

After single-player games, getting in love with the Uncharted series and other silly stuff he went back to multiplayer and turned into a Battlefield 3-player on Playstation3

He bought hardware to be able to record and stream his games from the Playstation, flew alot of airplanes, because that is what he loved, made some friends that are now gone.

When Playstation 4 hit the market, he was on the preorder button faster than a bullet and became a Battlefield4-player on that console

BF4 on Playstation 4 had alot of trouble initially, after some time, enough with the silly aiming with sticks, time to become a PC-player once again!

BF4 on PC, amazing times, some content was created during this time too.

When depression hit hard, Black Desert Online became his game for severeal years, where he also streamed on twitch.tv for hours and hours, and also made some content for youtube, while health was declining more rapidly.

After a while, mental health was improving, life was back to normal, suddenly, for some reason, all will to play video games were lost, was he betrayed? What happened? What turned him into this non-gaming guy?

Life turned back into a normies life: work, watch TV, repeat in the eternal wheel of the hamster, he is no longer active in the gaming-community, and is there really no hope for his return?

By this time, or probably before this time, he turned into a grumpy old man. Will that forever be his fate?
